Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your first chance to create a positive impact on buyers before they enter your home. The good and bad features that jump out at buyers form their initial thoughts about your home and how you keep up your house's regular maintenance.
Knowing this assists us in deciding what we can do to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with refreshed paint and blooming greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your home seem to say, "Hello From Your New Place" to a buyer? Walking-through your house with a buyer's eye, I'll recommend arrangements that build up Open House appeal.
I'll suggest that you eliminate things that give the look of clutter. Table and counter tops should be free and clear. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "neutralize" the place so buyers can perceive it as their new home.
I know instantly where a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. Areas that directly affect your dollars include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
We'll ensure your house has mass appeal and that it's inviting, steering clear of "offensive" or "too-bright" colors on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider renting furniture. The goal is for your home to look inviting as opposed to cold and deserted.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when you're ready to host an Open House, because everything comes together to set the stage for what buyers can look forward to after they choose to buy your house. Shadows are critical and we'll draw back curtains, and add lighting where needed to show off your place. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music playing lightly and make sure a delightful scent flows throughout your home. We'll add cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your chairs and bedding. Buyers should feel like your house has the potential to be. |
